American brand Hollister has confirmed the dates and location of its first Australian stores.

The Abercrombie & Fitch-owned retailer, which is known for its casual Southern Californian inspired clothing, will open two initial stores in Westfield Doncaster on April 27 and Westfield Bondi Junction on May 9.

According to Michael Scheiner, director of marketing & PR for Abercrombie & Fitch, the introduction of Hollister to the Australian market is the next step in the company’s expansion.

"Our anticipation continues to grow as we look forward to one of our most exciting openings to date,” he said.

“The colours, the music, the interior, the models, bring an amazing energy to the stores and we can't wait for everyone to experience it.”

Robert Jordan, managing director of Westfield Australia, United States and New Zealand, said the company is delighted to the bring the first Hollister stores to the Australian market.

“We know our customers are after a diverse range of international and Australian fashion retailers. We have a strong partnership with Hollister, with many of their stores in Westfield centres in the United States, the UK and now Australia and are pleased to introduce them to  Australian customers in Westfield Bondi Junction and Westfield Doncaster,” he said.
