Harris Scarfe is opening four new stores in Victoria before the end of the year, with the first one opening at the Knox Shopping Centre.
Harris Scarfe managing director Joe Barberis said Victoria had been a strong market for the company during the financial challenges of the past two years.
“Harris Scarfe at Knox Shopping Centre will be our premier store in terms of fitout with others to follow before Christmas,” he said.
Barberis said the $2.5 million store was creating approximately 35 jobs, which would increase over the Christmas period.
“This store is a significant investment in this area for Harris Scarfe and we are looking forward to becoming part of the community and contributing to the economy in the local region,” he said.
Harris Scarfe is located at Shop 1120 in the Knox Shopping Centre.
