Initially launching under the domain of stardeals.com.au, group buying company Groupon Australia will now operate using www.groupon.com.au domain name.
Patrick Schmidt, Groupon Australian CEO, said it was a sensible to move to make the switch as it’s a known and trusted brand.
“Naturally we’re communicating the change in brand to all our customers and merchant partners and reinforcing our commitment to deliver the very best deals and unmatched levels of customer and merchant support,” he said.
Groupon has been operating in Australia under the Stardeals brand since February. The Stardeals brand will be discontinued, with all traffic redirected to groupon.com.au.
