Australia’s largest specialty coffee house company, Gloria Jeans, has announced the biggest makeover of the brand in the company’s history.
It has launched Coffee House of the Future which involves a new-look coffee house, specialty team roles (including purveyors and maitre’d), enhanced team training and development scheme, new food and signature drinks menu.
Features of the new coffee house fitout are defined by contemporary appearance, clean lines and a comfortable ‘living room’ environment. Cutting edge technology such as coffee house guest identity recognition software will create a specialised service for customers.
General manager Gareth Pike is looking forward to the makeover.
“Our market is constantly moving and the needs of our guests change over time, and for this reason Coffee House of Future is able to deliver on our competitive positioning of the branded local coffee house,” he says.
“Our changes to the menu alone include 80 new products, which reflect the changing needs and eating occasions of our guests as well as seasonal and regional trends.
“This is a significant investment which will see our business evolve with the current environment and beyond. Most importantly the transformation reaffirms our commitment to all our franchise partners across Australia.”
The revamp will be rolled out nationally to each franchise partner before going international.
