Gift HQ is bringing the leading gift and homewares specialists and wholesalers to Brisbane this July, (between July 9-July 11) for a three-day extravaganza, showcasing the latest innovative products and services.

 According to Managing Director, Fair Events, Gary Fitz-Roy, with the wealth of information on offer from industry leading experts and the latest trends in gifts and homewares, it’s the place to be for retailers looking to prepare for their product buy-in.

 “Gift HQ attracts an extensive caliber of wholesalers from around Australia and overseas, who are looking to form relationships with retailers.

 “For wholesalers, it’s the perfect time to showcase the best of their range and launch new products in order to attain an honest and instant reaction from their target market,” says Mr Fitz-Roy.

 This year various wholesalers have advised they will be offering Gift HQ attendees’ first-look exclusives, and international wholesalers have promised Gift HQ will be the first time Australia sees their product range.

 “This year we’re seeing a lot of industry disrupters coming forward with innovative new specialty products.

 “The customer demand for environmentally friendly and ethically responsible products has created a market shake up.

 “We’re now witnessing new products made of unconventional materials, such as bamboo and candle wax, inspired by this global movement,” Mr Fitz-Roy says.

 Gift HQ is offering educational seminars, The Independent Retailer Conference, the nation’s only retail conference dedicated to independent store owners.

 “The Independent Retailer Conference focuses on a range of important topics relevant to retailers in the gift and homewares industry, which are broadly based, in order to suit and apply to all delegates. Given the rise of organisations effectively engaging with their audience online, there will be a strong focus on social media, SEO and online advertising.

 “The area is an informal lounge, right on the fair floor, where attendees are encouraged to take a seat and listen to industry leaders as they provide their expert advice on all things retail,” Mr Fitz-Roy says.
