FlyBuys members will be earning more points the next time they shop as part of Coles’ revitalisation of the shopping reward program.

FlyBuys members will receive four FlyBuys points from National Australia Bank (NAB) for every five dollar spent in Coles Supermarkets when they pay for their groceries with a FlyBuys-linked NAB credit card. This is in addition to the two points for every five dollar that FlyBuys members already receive from Coles on the same transaction.

Coles finance director Tony Buffin said since Coles acquired a 50 per cent of FlyBuys from NAB, it has been committed to improving the rewards program.

“This generous new points offer for NAB cardholders is the first of a number of exciting developments we have planned for FlyBuys,” he said.

The number of Australian households with FlyBuys memberships now exceeds 5.7 million, while overall cardholder numbers exceed 10 million.

NAB general manager cards and personal loans Michael Shurlin said this will further develop the relationship between NAB and Coles.

“We are also very pleased that this offer is available to existing NAB credit card customers, not just new customers. We look forward to continuing to work with Coles on identifying new opportunities for our cardholders into the future,” he said.
