Travel agent Flight Centre is expecting its profit for this financial year to exceed $210 million before tax. Besides a strong Australian dollar, high employment and cheap airfares benefiting the travel industry, there was also strong demand from overseas, boosting the profit estimates even further for next year.
Flight Centre also said it hasn’t experienced the great challenges retailers in other industries have encountered.
Further citing major growth opportunities, the company will continue its investment into the expansion of its travel and non-travel related businesses.
