Pizza Capers has raised $2379 for Youngcare to build purpose designed apartments for young people with high care needs.
On Father’s Day Pizza Capers stores in Brisbane and Tweed Heads donated $1 from every large pizza sold on the day. Pizza Capers marketing manager Adrian Burton said it was amazing to see the community rally together to support such a great cause.
“We are grateful for the strong community support and we want to thank everyone who purchased a large pizza for making the day such a success,” he said.
“We managed to raise $2379 through all Pizza Capers stores, which was a great result considering our original goal was $2000.”
Adrian said the franchisee’s fundraising efforts were testament to the company’s community minded spirit.
“Supporting the community is something we strongly believe in and we’re thrilled to be able to help. Youngcare helps young people with high care needs achieve a relevant and dignified lifestyle and it was great for all of our franchisees to be able to work so well together for such an important cause.”
