Dymocks strings in rivals’ customers

With Dymocks reassuring RetailBiz that its sales were going strong, it is also now about to prove it.

The bookstore is inviting customers to bring in their Borders or Angus & Robertson rewards card into any Dymocks store during March to receive 1,000 points when they join the Dymocks Booklovers’ Rewards program.

Dymocks CEO Don Grover said this ensures Australians can continue to purchase their gifts “with confidence”.

“This offer is to reassure Australians that the Dymocks group is strong and remains committed to providing books to people who enjoy reading them and rewarding our loyal customers,” he said.

This announcement follows REDgroup Retail‘s announcement that it entered into voluntary administration.

The Booklovers Rewards 1,000 points offer is available at all Dymocks bookstores nationwide until 31 March 2011.
