Despite the industry shake-up faced by the book industry earlier this year, Dymocks said it continues to open new franchise stores throughout the country.
According to the company, seven new stores are opening across Australia with more scheduled to open in coming months. There are two new stores opening in NSW, Western Australia and Victoria and one new store already open in Queensland.
Dymocks’ franchise recruitment manager Morris Short said the company has been able maintain a strong national presence while a majority of the retail industry faces difficulty times.
“Despite recent industry changes, we have seen a boost in the number of opportunities to own and run Dymocks franchise stores than ever before. The seven new Dymocks stores include Carindale (QLD), Whitford City (WA), Belmont Forum (WA), Castle Towers (NSW), Tuggerah (NSW), Victoria Gardens (VIC) and Werribee (VIC),” he said.
“We have also seen existing Dymocks franchise owners express interest in opening their second store, a sentiment that we feel reaffirms the confidence and support Dymocks provides its franchisees.”
