As donut chain Krispy Kreme Australia undergoes a company restructure after it entered voluntary administration, Dreamy Donuts has announced it will be accepting Krispy Kreme vouchers until the end of November.

The franchise brand owned and operated by the Foodco Group, which also owns Muffin Break and Jamaica Blue Brands, has 20 Dreamy Donuts stores in Australia and New Zealand.

It announced it will be accept Krispy Kreme vouchers in return for its Dreamy Donuts and Arabica bean coffee.

“In light of the recent closing of Krispy Kreme stores, Dreamy Donuts wants the public to know that Dreamy Donuts stores are a 100 per cent Australian concept and here to stay,” Natalie Brennan, Dreamy Donuts brand manager and national services and support manager for the Foodco Group, told Retailbiz.

The donut brand is celebrating its fifth birthday this month. It was acquired by Foodco Group’s subsidiary, Cookhouse Australia, in 2008.
