With the theme, “Doing More with In-store”, this year’s Retail 2010 conference program to be held at the Sydney Convention and Exhibition (20-22 September) will involve key influencers speaking on all aspects of retail including shopper psychology.
Jon Bird, CEO of Ideaworks, will review of the trends that will affect businesses with his presentation, “The Speed of Innovation”. With markets polarising and brands globalising, retailers are required to constantly innovate or be left behind. Bird’s presentation will look at the retailers who are responding best around the world, with examples drawn from a variety of sources, including the 2010 Westfield Retail Study Tour.
Meanwhile, Chris Furtado, the managing director of Mood Media AsiaPac, will share how Mood Media works with in-store media, such as audio, visual and scent solutions to help drive retail sales. Showcasing client case studies, Furtado will illustrate how in-store media integrated with other experiential strategies is becoming an important part of brand experience.
