FAL Food & Beverages recently opened a unique, coconut speciality retail outlet in Westfield Bondi Junction. The permanent store offers a range of shakes, smoothies, coconut ice cream, coconut yogurt, coffee and other healthy snacks, in addition to Coco Joy’s existing range of nutritious coconut-based products.
Tim Xenos, CEO of FAL Food & Beverages, a FAL Group brand, says the outlet showcases Coco Joy’s growing range of products and demonstrates the endless versatility of coconuts.
“Beyond being healthy, nutritious and delicious, coconuts are ideal for those with food allergies or intolerances,” says Xenos. “From cooking to refreshing beverages, this superfood truly has 101 uses. There’s no better way to show off the many ways Coco Joy is bringing the goodness of coconut to Australians than with this unique retail outlet – one of many we have planned for Australia.”
Located opposite Target at Store 5029 on Level 5 of Westfield Bondi Junction, the store stocks Coco Joy products including Coco Joy Coconut Water and Coco Joy Flavoured Coconut Milk, in addition to new products lines such as Coco Joy Coconut Oil.
“Customers can also order from our menu of healthy, refreshing and tasty food and drinks, each created using Coco Joy products. This includes: shakes, smoothies, ice creams, an acai bowl, frozen yoghurt, coffee, protein balls and more. Finally, shoppers have a dairy, soy, lactose, gluten and guilt-free alternative,” he says.
The company plans to add totally organic coffee and coconut milk to its menu and is also putting together an in-store 7-day detox program (a meal replacement option available in store only).
