Bob Ansett appointed to BSR board

Parent company of Better Home Living BSR Australia has appointed Bob Ansett as a director of the board.

As the founder of Budget Rent a Car and with extensive experience in areas including management, franchising, selling and customer relations, Ansett will assist the company in helping the group achieve its strategic goal.

“His strong optimism combined with his professional skill and extensive knowledge will be a valuable resource for BSR Australia – Betta, Betta Home Living and Chandlers brands,” Garry Thyer, BSR Australia chairman, said.

Betta has over 130 stores nationwide and has been a part of the Australian community since 1961.

BSR is in the process of rebranding the stores under the new Betta Home Living name to reflect its expansion into homewares and furniture. The brand had been previously known as Betta Electrical.
