The Beauty EDU Bar on the David Jones beauty floor offers customers great value treatments by Beauty EDU's qualified and talented students including a range of manicures (Polish, Infinite Shine or Gel) and brow shape and tints, starting at just $15 for an express manicure and polish and $5 for an eyebrow tint.

The Beauty EDU Bar will also host industry events and consumer promotions on an ongoing basis to create in-store theatre and enhance the David Jones customer experience.

The bar corresponds with a new state-of-the-art Beauty EDU campus embedded in David Jones Eastland and set to open in November, where students can complete a contemporary Diploma of Beauty Therapy, and in 2016 a Diploma of Specialised Make Up.

Designed by world-class architects, Techne, the 250 square metre campus will feature three bright and beautiful classrooms with natural wooden flooring, copper light fixtures and luxurious furniture to create an ambience of a high-end salon and inspire student creativity. The opulent rectangle shaped Beauty EDU Bar, revealed today, features a countertop of specially sourced pink terrazzo, accents of pink neon Perspex as well as custom made light fittings and customer-friendly bag hooks in gold-plating.

The pioneering partnership between Beauty EDU and David Jones provides students with valuable work experience in a leading retail environment, closing the loop between education and industry.

Co-Founder of Beauty EDU Rebecca Judd said, "We're thrilled to be able to provide Beauty EDU students invaluable client facing experience at the Beauty EDU Bar, as well as the opportunity to shine in front of potential employers including David Jones and other principal beauty partners."

With the campus set to officially launch in mid-November, enrolments are currently open for the full-time and flexible study modes, with aspiring beauty specialists urged to apply via www.beautyedu.edu.au/course/diploma-beauty-therapy.
