The parent company of Bras N Things and Diva has taken up a double tenancy on Adelaide’s Rundle Mall.

BB Retail Capital has managed to seal a ten year lease for shop four and five that totals 317 square metres.

CB Richard Ellis’ Julia Pottenger who negotiated the lease told Retailbiz the store will be split between fashion jewellery retailer Diva and lingerie brand Bras N Things.

“It was a large store 317 square metre that has a 16 metre frontage. And even though Bras N Things is such a fantastic brand, it was just a little bit too large of a space to sell just lingerie so they decided to put the two brands together,” she said.

“They also compliment each other well and are aiming for the same target market.’

According to Pottenger, Rundle Mall has been experiencing a large amount of movement at present with new tenants moving into the mall and tenants relocating to positions better suited to their brand needs.

“There was previously a Bras N Things at the mall but their lease expired, and the company thought why not have two of our brands at the site” she said.

“Diva will be relocating from The Myer Centre Adelaide and that existing site will be rebadged to one of BB Retail Capita’s other chain, which aims of the higher market, called Lovisa.

“But the Diva brand is a very strong one and I think can they can have more than one in a mall.”
