With online shopping booming again this Christmas, Australia Post is launching MyPost Deliveries, a new free service that gives customers choice over exactly where their parcels get delivered.

By registering for MyPost account, customers can choose their closest or most convenient delivery point – whether that’s their home, a post office close to work or a Parcel Locker – with the flexibility to change it every time they shop.

Australia Post Managing Director and Group CEO, Ahmed Fahour, says MyPost Deliveries gives customers unprecedented access and control over how they receive their parcels.

“As people’s shopping habits have changed, so have their delivery demands. Australia Post is giving its customers more choices than ever with the launch of MyPost Deliveries,” he said.

“Whether it’s to your home, to more than 3500 Post Offices nationally or to our growing network of 24/7 Parcel Lockers on your way home, there’s so many reliable ways we can deliver your parcels to you – and all for free.”

Australia Post is already making Christmas easier for customers with extended Post Office opening hours and weekend parcel deliveries commencing this month. The new MyPost Deliveries service means keen online shoppers can have their parcels securely and conveniently delivered to a Post Office or 24/7 Parcel Locker during the busy festive season and beyond.

Mr Fahour says they are very pleased with their customers’ response to the new 24/7 Parcel Lockers.

“The latest Australia Post research shows 84 per cent of Parcel Locker customers are extremely likely to use the service again and 41 per cent said they have been shopping online more since using a Parcel Locker.”
