Women’s hosiery, bodywear and underwear importer Ambra Coporation has been awarded Best Soft Goods supplier at the Myer Supplier of the Year Awards, outshining Pacific Brands and Gazal.

Alan Goodfellow, Ambra Coporation managing director, told Retailbiz that he is pleased to win the award.

“The award is recognition for the hard work that has been undertaken by the dedicated and experienced team at Ambra Corporation in building our three brands Levante, Ambra & Jonathan Aston.  It acknowledges the passion and commitment we have for our industry and retailing in Australia,” he said.

The award for judging the ‘Best Soft Goods – Apparel Supplier’ is based upon financial performance (sales, profit and total income) across all three brands (Ambra, Jonathan Aston and Levante), delivery performance, store support and the suppliers partnership with Myer.

“Ambra Corporation has been a trade partner to Myer for over twenty years. Over this period we have built a valued relationship with Myer, mutually dedicated to consistently delivering innovation, quality and value to the consumer,” Goodfellow said.

The annual program recognises the hard work put in by Myer suppliers and was celebrated at a gala ball to announce the overall winners.
