For the second year in a row, Aldi Australia has been recognised as Supermarket of the Year at the Roy Morgan Customer Satisfaction Awards for 2012.

The Roy Morgan Customer Satisfaction Awards honour businesses that have led their industry in Customer Satisfaction, and are judged by Australian consumers. The Awards cover 37 categories including retail and supermarkets.

Stefan Kopp, ALDI Australia managing director for buying, said Aldi’s winning formula to deliver complete customer satisfaction to its shoppers is about finding ways for how they can stretch their dollars further.

“Over the past year, we have looked at where we can provide even more for our customers and have introduced new initiatives to continue to give families incredible value,” he said.

“Our ‘Switch and Save Even More’ campaign resonated strongly with our customers as it has provided them with products that compete with leading brands on quality, yet at significantly lower prices.

“Another example of where we have made shopping easier is with our Aldi Lunchbox initiative, which makes it easier for parents and kids to plan, shop for and create balanced school lunchboxes.”
