Aldi Australia is extending its product offering by getting into the telco business with the launch of three prepaid mobile plans.

ALDImobile is the smarter choice for Australians looking to maximise their telecommunications dollar,” said an ALDI Australia spokesperson.

“We identified a need in the Australian market for straightforward, clean and simple pricing structures and believe that our three plans tick all those boxes, making it hassle-free for customers to stay connected.”

For a low level users, Aldi Australia is offering customers the ‘Pay As You Go’ plan which can be recharged at $15 or $30 and comes with a long-term expiry of 365 days.

Alternatively, for those who like to use their mobiles more regularly, the Unlimited Plan offers 30 days of unlimited calls and texts within Australia, as well as 5GB of data for $35.

This is the first mobile launch for ALDI outside the European market allowing Australian customers to take advantage of a smarter mobile service.
