Sushi Jiro has opened its 30th Australian location and largest store to date at The Glen Shopping Centre in Melbourne.

Highlights of the new venue include a 67-metre sushi train, believed to be the longest in the city, and a first-of-its-kind Japanese soft serve dessert station.

For $10, diners can enjoy an all-you-can-eat soft serve experience with vanilla and matcha flavours and a selection of 30 toppings.

Designed with both contemporary and traditional Japanese elements, the restaurant features timber finishes, booth seating, and a sushi train with views of Sneddon Drive. It has a dine-in capacity for over 100 guests and caters to individuals, groups, and families.

Dishes are delivered via sushi train robots, with popular items such as the Soft Shell Crab Noritaco, Himalaya Signature Roll, and Nacho Cheese Signature Tuna Roll joined by new additions like Salmon Sensations.

“The Glen restaurant has been designed to offer a more spacious and immersive experience and is the perfect evolution of the Sushi Jiro brand and offering,” said Sushi Jiro CEO Anna Kasman.

Located in the ground floor dining precinct, Sushi Jiro The Glen is open daily from 11am to 9pm.
