Australia’s first shopping super app, Shping, which allows consumers to compare prices and earn crypto rewards has announced an integration with Coinbase Wallet.
Users can now easily connect their Coinbase Wallets and transfer Shping Coin, the universal token of the Shping economy that empowers brands to reward consumers directly for engagement.
Through this integration, Shping users can now trade their earned Shping Coin for other cryptocurrencies, cash out to fiat, or simply store them in their Coinbase Wallet by linking to the Shping app.
Shping has implemented a “Sign in with Coinbase” OAuth2 authorisation method, making the app available for easy log-in to Coinbase users. The integration also extends Coinbase’s gas-free transfer to Shping users to eliminate transaction fees.
Coinbase Wallet is a self-custody wallet that gives customers complete control of their crypto. The private keys (which represent ownership of the cryptocurrency) for users’ wallets are stored directly on their mobile device and not with a centralised exchange. Coinbase Wallet currently supports Ethereum and all EVM-compatible networks in both the mobile app and browser extension. In addition, the mobile app also supports Bitcoin, Dogecoin, Litecoin, Stellar Lumens, and Ripple network.

Boasting nearly nine million product inquiries to date, Shping enables brands across all retail categories to leverage data insights, drive sales and directly reward and engage consumers with the Ethereum-based Shping Coin. Consumers can easily earn Shping Coin by viewing brand content, scanning barcodes, writing reviews and uploading receipts.
