Officeworks has been appointed as a supplier of office and education supplies to Queensland government.

The three year deal with options to extend for a further two 12 month periods followed a tender process with Queensland’s department of housing and public works. Officeworks was selected as one of three accredited suppliers on a panel to serve all departments of the Queensland State Government with their office and educational supplies needs.

The Officeworks submission included a number of bespoke features to enable state government bodies to buy office and stationery supplies more efficiently, including creating a dedicated web page for the state government, putting a tailored procurement process in place and providing a dedicated team of specialist account managers.

"As an Australian owned and operated company with a strong track record in Queensland we are delighted to have been selected as a provider to the Queensland Government,” Mark Beaton, Officeworks national manager of business, said.

“This appointment recognises Officeworks' commitment to working with the government and commercial sectors to realise efficiencies and savings across their office supplies and stationery needs.”
