Global ecommerce fulfilment solution and tech unicorn, ShipBob has opened a new fulfilment centre at Yennora in western Sydney.

ShipBob’s first fulfilment in New South Wales and second in Australia, expands the company’s footprint for ecommerce brands that want to outsource shipping logistics.

ShipBob customers can now strategically distribute their inventory between both the Sydney and Melbourne fulfilment centres, and automatically fulfill customer orders from the location nearest to the order’s destination.

Since launch in Australia last year, ShipBob’s Melbourne centre works with more than 150 unique ecommerce brands and the facility has seen 20 times growth in volume of outbound parcels year over year.

ShipBob’s Australian customers include The Betoota Advocate, SubSubmarine, and Karst, while global customers using the Australian fulfilment centres include Sharkbanz, Black Claw, The Adventure Challenge and Postal.io.

ShipBob also offers seamless integrations with Shopify, BigCommerce, Klaviyo, Gorgias, Shipstation, and over 40 other ecommerce tools in ShipBob’s App Store; advanced analytics and built-in reports; transparent billing structure and no minimum fees; real-time inventory management across all fulfilment locations and ease of product bundling, as well as unboxing experiences using branded packaging, marketing inserts, custom gift notes, and more.

“We’re so excited to continue building out our local capabilities and offer merchants more redundancy and flexibility in the lead up to the busy peak retail period. ShipBob’s global fulfilment network is best placed to support Aussie brands through their domestic and global expansion strategy,” ShipBob general manager, Guillaume Deront said.
