Innovative retail loss prevention company, Vitag, experienced strong sales results at the Retail Technology Expo held at Melbourne’s Exhibition Centre in September. “Vitag’s new product offerings specifically targeting electrical retailers and hardware were well received, with several contracts signed,” says Greg Raubenheimer, managing director of Vitag.

Strong interest from emerging markets proved effective anti-theft solutions are front of mind for today’s retailers. “The urgency was evident at the show, highlighting the need for anti-theft devices for products including mobile phones, PDAs, iPods and valuable electronic goods. We provide a range of solutions, merging loss prevention with superior merchandising fixtures, which are already widely adopted in the US, European and Asia Pacific retail markets.

“We had strong interest for our new lines including Alpha merchandise display PODs, locking display hooks and locking display keepers,” says Greg.

This year, Vitag shared a corporate stand with manufacturer Checkpoint. This allowed retailers to view a wider selection of retail loss prevention solutions, including the latest generation of exit protection systems, the widest range of security tags and innovative anti-theft merchandise display products.

“Vitag supplies products from three leading retail loss prevention manufacturers ¯ Checkpoint, WG Security Products and Alpha Security ¯ providing individual retailers with a choice of technologies,” says Greg.
