New slow fashion label Elegant Ensembles has launched, offering premium made-to-order garments.
Fashion entrepreneur Yeresha Herath founded Elegant Ensembles in Melbourne, aiming to redefine the concept of made-to-order fashion for today’s women.
The brand was created in response to the limitations of traditional sizing and merges thoughtful design, digital-first convenience, and expert tailoring to deliver timeless, custom-fit pieces.
“I started Elegant Ensembles because I was tired of compromising on fit. So many women fall in love with a garment only to be disappointed by how it fits or how much it costs. I wanted to create a solution that makes high-quality, made-to-measure fashion accessible, effortless and elegant,” said Herath.
Herath established and launched the business using her own money while working full-time, driven by her passion for making luxury fashion more accessible.
The debut collection, Ethereal Dreams, will also be introduced this July, featuring light, romantic, pieces inspired by spring and includes everyday wear and occasion wear.
Elegant Ensembles sells exclusively through www.elegants.au, presenting a curated selection of designs and an intuitive measurement submission process to receive made-to-order garments.
For customers seeking immediate availability, a limited selection of pieces is available in standard sizing to reduce to waste and avoid mass production.
“Our mission is simple. Fashion should fit the woman, not the other way around. We’re here to prove that you don’t have to sacrifice quality, or style to get the perfect fit and you don’t need to pay couture prices or attend endless fittings to achieve it,” said Herath.
