Moonpig, an online greeting card and gifting platform, has launched in Australia, offering customers a new way to send personalised cards and gifts across the country.

Founded in the UK in 2000, the company has delivered more than 330 million cards globally and is expanding its international presence to meet growing demand for convenient, creative gifting options.

The service will be available for customers across Australia, with cards printed locally in Melbourne and Sydney and delivered through Australia Post.

The launch gives Australians access to more than 33,000 card designs, with new options added every week, ranging from humorous birthday cards and heartfelt anniversary messages to personalised photo keepsakes for every occasion.

Moonpig’s platform includes a range of tools and features designed to make sending cards and gifts as simple as possible.

Customers can create fully personalised cards using a photo upload feature, or design custom illustrations with AI-powered stickers.

The Moonpig app also allows users to digitise their own handwriting for a more personal touch. Automated date reminders and scheduling options enable cards to be prepared in advance and delivered exactly when needed.

“We’re incredibly excited to bring Moonpig to Australia and make it easier than ever for Australians to send thoughtful, personalised cards and gifts to their loved ones,” said Mary Liu, International Director at Moonpig.

“Whether it’s a birthday, anniversary or just because, we know that personal connection matters, and that’s what Moonpig is all about. By printing locally and delivering with AusPost, we’re able to offer a seamless, affordable, and truly personal service to our customers here.”

In addition to cards, Moonpig is expanding its gift offerings with a range of products from local and international brands. The company is partnering with artisanal businesses across Victoria to provide options such as flower bouquets and specialty food hampers to complement its card range.

Moonpig is also reinforcing its sustainability commitment in Australia. All cards and packaging are made from FSC-certified paper, produced locally, and fully recyclable.

The company has eliminated the use of glitter and other non-recyclable materials and has also partnered with Tree-Nation to support reforestation efforts, planting over 300,000 trees globally.

The platform allows customers to save contacts, set reminders for key dates, and choose from a range of shipping options, including standard and express services.

For major occasions such as Christmas or Mother’s Day, Moonpig recommends ordering at least four days in advance for standard delivery, or one to two days ahead with express tracking.
