The world’s fastest online login and checkout experience, Fast has launched Fast Checkout to enable one-click e-commerce purchases on every site, device, and platform.

With Fast Checkout, buyers can complete online purchases in less than one second and sellers can add one-click checkout to their stores. Initially launching with select merchants, other merchants can sign up to add Checkout to their online stores.

For buyers, the first time a purchase is made at any site that uses Checkout, they simply enter their contact information and payment details. From that one purchase, they are automatically signed up and can use one-click checkout at any store with Checkout, regardless of device or browser, and without a password.

In addition to one-click checkout, Fast Checkout provides buyers a convenient, one-stop location to keep track of their purchases, including delivery status and reordering.

Fast CEO and co-founder, Domm Holland said, “More than ever before, people are shopping online out of necessity so ensuring fast, easy and safe online checkout is not a luxury – it is an imperative.”

Online businesses lose up to 80% of potential purchases from shopping cart abandonment every year, often related to friction during checkout, according to research from e-commerce solution, Barilliance.

Earlier this year, Fast raised $30 million in a series A funding round led by Stripe, with additional participation from Index Ventures and Susa Ventures. The funding represented one of the largest series A funding rounds secured by an Australian technology entrepreneur.

At the time, Fast said it would use the investment to accelerate the global roll out of Fast Checkout and further grow its product and engineering teams.
