Australian ecommerce marketplace, Everything Caravan & Camping is expanding overseas, launching its platform in Europe just six months after its local launch.

The European outdoor, caravan, motorhome and camping market, estimated to be worth nearly $50 billion having experienced similar growth in recent years to Australia.

“Europe had nearly 300,000 motorhome and caravan sales last year alone, and we know Germany has had good early year results, that’s why we believe this is the right time for us to expand our Australian operations into Europe,” Everything Caravan & Camping CEO and co-founder, Paul Widdis said.

“We are proud to be launching our new website with co-founder, Kathrin Bischof, who heads our European operations, at the Caravan Salon, a worldwide recognised show for our industry.

“The advantage for European based businesses is that our Marketplacer platform gives individual manufacturers and suppliers the ability to upload details of their product offerings to the site and provide real-time views of stock availability. Customers can quickly locate the products they need and place orders for delivery.”

Kathrin Bischof said it was an exciting time for the industry in Europe as it comes out of Covid.

“The caravan, motorhome and camping industry throughout Europe is very strong and as consumers return to the great outdoors in large numbers our Everything Caravan & Camping site is at their fingertips to get hold of the latest quality products on the market,” she said.
