Continuing the expansion of the $1.2 billion redevelopment, Westfield Sydney has opened its fine dining precinct on level six boosting in-centre dining to over 3,000 seats.
This marks the next stage of completion at Westfield Sydney following the opening of a 820 seat capacity level five food atrium in April.
The restaurants that are now opened on level six include Chat Thai, Xanthi, Spiedo restaurant & bar and Sky Phoenix.
Robert Jordan, Westfield managing director Australia and New Zealand, said the company is confident that it will be a central location for Sydney CBD.
“Our vision for Westfield Sydney was to create a distinctive in-centre experience and our food offering has been a cornerstone of this,” he said.
Westfield Sydney is in Sydney’s best retail site bordering Pitt Street Mall, Castlereagh and Market streets, and connects to the highest grossing department stores in Australia – David Jones and Myer.
