The Coffee Club has opened its first drive-thru store in Tingalpa, Brisbane.
The drive-thru is a custom built free-standing building situated in an area that experiences a high level of commuter traffic.
Jason Ball, The Coffee Club Group CEO, said the drive-thru is a further step in the company’s ongoing journey to modernise its offering.
"With more Australian customers wanting quick service and a convenient coffee on the go, the introduction of our first drive-thru is very timely,” he said.
“We are focused on reinvigorating our store designs to meet the changing needs of our customer.”
In addition to the dedicated drive thru at Tingalpa, there will be a café inside offering seating and a new café menu serving breakfast, lunch and everything in between. The drive-thru will feature a unique drive-thru only menu, which is designed around meals on the go that can be served quickly.
"The benefit of the Tingalpa store is that it will offer flexible options; the inside cafe will offer customers the choice to have a sit down experience while the drive-thru offers them a fast and convenient service from 6am every day,” Ball said.
“A dedicated team of experienced drive-thru professionals have been recruited who have undertaken four weeks of formal Coffee Club training. We're all very excited to introduce customers to the new store."
The new drive-thru is the latest in a series of Coffee Club's transformation which so far has involved the launch of a new nationwide menu and the roll out of modernised new store design. New uniforms, crockery, enhanced coffee and cabinet options will be launched in the coming months, all designed to provide a fresher and more contemporary cafe and dining experience.
