Sydney Airport, in conjunction with Nuance Australia, has opened a jewellery precinct within Syd Tax and Duty Free in T1 International terminal.

Sydney Airport general manager retail Andrew Gardiner said the concept features Australian brands Toscow, Kailis and Cerrone in order to help improve choice and value for internationally retailers.

“With millions of travellers passing through the International terminal each year, we’re committed to innovating and evolving our retail offering to align with the expectations of our customers,” he said.

“By offering these three luxury Australian brands in one location, Sydney Airport offers Australian and international customers an exceptional shopping experience with greater choice of brands and value.”

Toscow’s new boutique in T1 brings their trademark Australian opal jewellery to international travellers at tax and duty free prices. The new shop is the first to use a new concept furniture design, which provides a stylish setting to display the fine jewels.

Now also open in the terminal is Kailis Australian pearls boutique, which offers a range of pearl jewellery, including the rare Australian South Sea pearls.

Rounding out the trio is Cerrone. The Cerrone store in T1 was designed by Sydney-based architect Robert Parisi, who worked with bronze, copper and timber veneer finishes to give the store a luxurious feel complementing the jewellery pieces.

“Nuance Australia is a pioneer in creating new and interactive retail concepts for our shoppers,” Nuance Australia CEO Philippe Boyer said.

“The new jewellery boutiques in T1 will entice shoppers with a unique offering that is tailored to the wants and needs of international travellers.”
