Sports retailer rebel will open its newest store at Westfield Burwood in Sydney on Thursday, October 9, marking its first presence at the busy shopping centre.

Spanning 1,501 square metres, the new store represents a significant step in rebel’s strategy to enhance in-store experiences and inspire sporting participation within local communities. The Burwood location features a modern layout with interactive elements, including a dedicated football experience zone.

To celebrate the opening, Wests Tigers player Alex Twal will make a special appearance on Thursday, October 9, from 5pm to 6pm.

The store will offer a broad range of performance and lifestyle apparel, with women’s ranges from Ell/Voo, Muscle Nation and Lorna Jane, and men’s collections from brands such as Nike, adidas, Under Armour and New Balance.

The opening weekend will feature a range of promotions for customers. From October 9 to 12, the first 100 rebel active members each day will receive a lucky door voucher valued between $10 and $500 to spend in store.

In addition, members will earn triple points on all purchases made between October 9 and 19, equal to 15 per cent off their next shop (T&Cs apply).

“We’re excited to unveil our new Burwood store, a location-first for rebel,” said Meg Zalewski, General Manager of Retail at rebel.

“This store has been designed to inspire the local community with the latest sporting trends, leading global brands, and interactive experiences like our dedicated football zone. We can’t wait to welcome customers through the doors to enjoy our opening celebrations.”
