As part of the redevelopment of the Stockland shopping centre in Townsville, Myer has opened as the anchor store.
Myer CEO Bernie Brookes said was a great level of anticipation for the opening of the first ever Myer store in Townsville.
“The opening of the new Myer store in Townsville marks an exciting time for the people of Far North Queensland,” he said.
The two-level store will provide customers with a range of international, national and Myer Exclusive Brands across a variety of categories including women’s and men’s apparel, cosmetics, homewares, intimate apparel, electrical, footwear and accessories, small appliances, childrenswear and youth.
Myer Townsville store manager Karen Dyki said there had been a great deal of excitement from the local community during the store development and she was confident that they would be delighted with the merchandise offering.
“Many of the brands that customers will find at Myer Townsville are only available at Myer. I think customers will be thrilled when they come in and find the latest products and services on offer and experience our customer service,” she said.
