KFC is bringing its Kentucky Fried Chicken to the Queensland suburb of Goondiwindi with the opening of a new restaurant.
The latest KFC restaurant is led by general manager, Wayne Mischlewski who has over 20 years of experience in the industry, while Luke Scott will take on the role of assistant restaurant manager.
“The KFC Goondiwindi team is delighted to welcome local KFC fans who can now get their hands on the Colonel’s delicious Kentucky Fried Chicken. We’re thrilled to welcome 35 new team members into the KFC family, providing a significant number of jobs to the local area,” Mischlewski said.
The new KFC restaurant provides opportunities for team members to develop skills in customer service and teamwork. As they progress in their role, they gain self-confidence and develop the life skills they need to succeed, both in and beyond their career at KFC.
Putting its people first, KFC seeks to nurture personal development by offering both in-person and digital training initiatives.
“We’re passionate about building a strong and confident team to ensure we provide both the best customer service possible and quality Kentucky Fried Chicken to the people of Goondiwindi. Our culture fosters the growth and development of our people by providing opportunities that help them gain lifelong skills, confidence and friends. We’re looking forward to watching our new Team Members reach their potential,” Mischlewskiadded.
