Workout Meals has launched a new range of air fryer-ready meals.

Sydney-based Workout Meals has launched a new range of air fryer-ready meals, tapping into the growing popularity of the appliance in Australian households.

Citing data from the Food Safety Information Council, Workout Meals said that two in three Australian households own an air fryer, with 54 per cent using it weekly and 38 per cent using it several times a week.

“Air-fryers are all about convenience and so are our meals so it made sense for us to adapt our recipes and create a pre-made meal that is truly the first of its kind,” said Tomi Jurlina, co-founder of Workout Meals.

The air fryer-ready meals range include Chicken Parmigiana; Lamb Moussaka; Peppercorn Steak and Chips; Beef Lasagne; BBQ Beef Mac and Cheese; Japanese Katsu Curry; Cheese Pesto Omelette; Shakshuka with Egg and Spinach; Southern Fried Chicken; Supercharged Veggie Frittatta; Sweet Potato and Beef Mex Bowl; and Loaded Wedges.

The company said that each meal is chef-crafted, high in protein and low in fat, and can be cooked in under 15 minutes. They also come in heat-safe, eco-friendly sugarcane packaging.

“We’ve been blown away by their popularity – our sales have tripled since we launched the meals six weeks ago,” said Jurlina.

“All our meals are cooked to order fresh with nothing frozen so we’ve had to bring in extra hands in our kitchens to keep up with the demand.”

Four new air fryer-ready meals are set to launch in the coming weeks, according to the company.
