Japanese fast fashion retail brand UNIQLO is upgrading its Emporium flagship store in Melbourne to enhance customer experience.
Originally opened in 2014, the store will undergo major renovations and is set to reopen later this year, with a renewed LifeWear experience offered.
“Following our first store at Emporium, we have opened an incredible 40 stores nation-wide, thanks to great support from Australian customers. In 2025, UNIQLO Emporium will be undergoing an extensive upgrade in line with our global store designs and aesthetic,” said Fuminori Adachi, CEO of UNIQLO Australia.
“We are thrilled to be able to provide our Melbourne customers with a world class store environment and experience in our new Emporium store, reopening soon.”
Renovations at the UNIQLO Emporium Melbourne store, located at 287 Lonsdale Street, will introduce a refreshed layout and updated features, including select global in-store offerings debuting in Australia. Further information will be revealed ahead of the re-opening.
The renovations show UNIQLO’s commitment to delivering quality LifeWear in a modern and customer-friendly space.
“We’re incredibly proud to be the home of UNIQLO’s first Australian store, and we’re thrilled to support this next chapter in their journey. This exciting renovation will reimagine the UNIQLO experience at Emporium Melbourne, aligning perfectly with our vision to deliver a premium, globally inspired retail environment in the heart of the city,” said Gordon White, Centre Manager of Emporium Melbourne.
