Subway is marking Anzac Day this April with the release of a limited-edition Anzac biscuit, created in partnership with the Returned & Services League of Australia (RSL).

Based on a traditional World War I-era recipe featuring oats, coconut, and golden syrup, the biscuit pays tribute to veterans and their families.

Proceeds from each sale will support veteran services in both Australia and New Zealand. In Australia, funds will go to RSL programs, while in New Zealand, they will contribute to the RSA’s National Poppy Trust, which provides support such as housing repairs and mental health services.

RSL Australia National President Greg Melick and RSA National President Sir Wayne Shelford both praised the partnership, highlighting its importance in the lead-up to Anzac Day and its impact on veterans’ well-being.

“The Anzac biscuit is more than a classic treat – it symbolises remembrance and respect,” Shane Bracken, Subway Managing Director for Australia and New Zealand, said.

“This April, we want our guests to know that by purchasing an Anzac biscuit in one of our restaurants across Australia and New Zealand, not only are they enjoying a delicious treat, but they can feel good knowing they are also giving back.”

The Subway Anzac biscuit is available throughout Australia and New Zealand restaurants from April 7 to May 4 2025, or until sold out.
