SOTI has launched a new suite of dashboard tools aimed at helping retailers improve in-store operations and meet rising consumer expectations for fast, efficient service.

SOTI has launched a new suite of dashboard tools to help retailers improve in-store operations.

Among these dashboard tools is the Personal Shopper Device Utilisation Dashboard, which provides detailed insights into individual devices or store fleets, including model types, peak hourly usage, time spent idle, and return times.

The other tool is the Store Comparison Dashboard, which allows retailers to assess performance across locations, highlighting high-performing and underperforming stores.

According to SOTI, the launch comes at a critical time as its study shows that 85 per cent of Australian shoppers say speed from entering the store to finding items and completing payment is essential to a positive in-store experience.

Another 83 per cent said prompt assistance from staff is equally important.

“Australian consumers expect fast, high-quality service the moment they walk into a retail store,” said Michael Dyson, VP of Sales, APAC at SOTI.

“If those expectations aren’t met, they don’t just leave empty handed, they often don’t come back. For retailers, it’s critical that staff are equipped with the right tools and technology to work efficiently and deliver exceptional service every time.”

The company has also introduced Live View, a real-time feature on XSight that tracks current and historical device performance, which retailers can use to proactively address issues before they affect sales or service.

“Technology should empower staff and enhance service, not add complexity,” said Dyson.

“By giving retailers access to real-time data and historical insights, we’re making it easier to keep devices running, customers satisfied, and stores operating at peak efficiency.”
