Savers is set to open a new store in Auburn on May 15, 2025.

Global thrift retailer Savers is set to open a new store in Auburn on May 15, 2025, marking its third location in New South Wales in just a year.

The new store, located on Parramatta Road in the heart of Auburn’s retail hub, is positioned among major shopping centres and retailers, which draw tens of thousands of visitors daily. Its easy access via major highways makes it an ideal spot for shoppers across Western Sydney.

The Auburn store will offer a wide range of secondhand items, including clothing, accessories, and home goods, with new stock arriving daily. With an emphasis on affordability, the majority of items in the store will be priced under $10, catering to budget-conscious shoppers.

“We’ve seen an incredible response to our Hoxton Park and Oxford Street stores, and Auburn is the perfect next step in our expansion,” Michael Fisher, Managing Director at Savers Australia.

“The store will offer a one-of-a-kind thrift shopping experience, giving Western Sydney shoppers access to quality secondhand goods at affordable prices – all while making a positive impact on the planet.”

By offering affordable secondhand items, Savers helps conserve water, reduce pollution, and minimize energy consumption, giving consumers a way to support sustainability through their shopping choices.

The new store also strengthens Savers’ network of partnerships with not-for-profit organisations, including the Diabetes Innovation and Impact Foundation (DIIF), which works to improve the lives of Australians affected by diabetes.

The Auburn store will continue to accept donations on behalf of these partners, reinforcing Savers’ dedication to supporting local communities.

To kick off the opening, the Auburn Community Donation Centre already began accepting donations on April 12, offering locals a convenient way to donate gently used items ahead of the store’s grand opening.
