Myer has announced a major expansion of its Myer One loyalty program, introducing faster rewards, new earning opportunities, and exclusive member experiences in what it calls the most significant upgrade since the program’s launch more than 20 years ago.

Members can now earn two points for every dollar spent when shopping online or in-store at Myer, as well as at partner brands including Just Jeans, Jay Jays, Portmans, Dotti, Jacqui E, sass & bide, Marcs, and David Lawrence. From November, customers can also earn at least one point for every dollar spent at Dan Murphy’s, DoorDash, Petbarn, MyCar, and Lvly by linking their Visa or Mastercard via the Myer One app.

“Myer One continues to grow with 4.7 million active members who will now be able to earn and redeem faster, unlock tiers sooner and enjoy exclusive benefits,” said Olivia Wirth, Myer Group Executive Chair.

“This is about rewarding members in real time giving them more reasons to choose Myer again and again, helping strengthen the connection with our most loyal customers and creating a wider loyalty ecosystem.”

The enhanced program introduces faster access to rewards, with members able to use their $10 reward just 24 hours after earning credits instead of waiting until the end of each quarter. Tier thresholds have been adjusted to make it easier for members to reach Silver and Gold status, unlocking a range of new perks.

Silver, Gold, and Platinum members will have access to complimentary MY Edition Beauty Boxes curated with gifts from leading brands, as well as beauty treatments such as facials and makeup services. Myer has also expanded its range of member-only experiences, including store events, early product releases, and VIP shopping opportunities.

Moreover, members will receive more tailored offers through the updated Myer One app, gain access to MY Reward days where they can choose when to earn extra points, and have the ability to bank rewards for key occasions like Christmas and family birthdays.

They can also use points plus pay with partners such as CommBank, Virgin Australia’s Velocity Frequent Flyer program, and American Express, earning Myer One points on every purchase. A forthcoming feature will also allow up to five members to pool points and benefits.

“More than 825,000 people joined the program last financial year with over 50 per cent of new members under the age of 35,” said Wirth.

“Almost 80 per cent of all sales made in Myer are linked to a Myer One member, so we know the program resonates with our loyal customers and we expect these changes will grow members and engagement.”

“Myer One members spend 2.8 times more than non-members and our continued investment in the program delivers more value to our customers and will unlock future growth opportunities for the wider Myer Group.”
