American luxury eyewear brand MOSCOT has launched its first Australian store in South Yarra, Melbourne, bringing its global shop count to 34.
The brand’s debut store in South Yarra mirrors the neighborhood’s architecture, arts scene, and fashion-forward culture. The area features boutique shopping and café lifestyle, providing a sense of community and an ideal setting to introduce MOSCOT’s eyewear and craftsmanship.

“For years, our Australian customers have traveled internationally to shop at MOSCOT, and we’re thrilled to finally offer them the full MOSCOT experience right here in Melbourne,” said Harvey Moscot, Fourth Generation and CEO.
“South Yarra’s mix of history, creativity, and style aligns perfectly with our brand, and we’re excited to welcome both longtime fans and new customers into the MOSCOT family.”
The MOSCOT Melbourne location incorporates numerous elements from the original Lower East Side Shop in Manhattan, New York. Spanning 1,055 square feet (98 square meters), the space features traditional tin ceilings, vintage trinkets, historical artifacts, and New York-inspired decor, offering an immersive experience that combines MOSCOT’s heritage with Melbourne’s passion for art and design.
“Melbourne and New York share a rich cultural DNA, both known for their creative energy, diverse communities, and deep appreciation for design,” said Zack Moscot, Fifth Generation and Chief Design Officer.
“Bringing MOSCOT to Australia has been a long time coming, and we couldn’t think of a better city to introduce our Lower East Side charm and craftsmanship to than Melbourne.”
