Michael Hill appoints Andrea Slingsby as alternate director

Michael Hill has appointed Andrea Slingsby as alternate director to Sir Michael Hill, who is on leave for cancer treatment.

Slingsby also currently serves as a director at Prime Financial Group.

She previously worked at Michael Hill as chief operating officer from January 2019 to January 2021 after serving as chief people officer from September 2018 to December 2018.

“Andrea has extensive board governance, consulting and advisory experience across a range of industry sectors including global retail,” the company said.

“Andrea brings expertise in both domestic and international growth and sustainable scaling of Australian brands such as Flight Centre and Blackmores.”
