Mason & Main

Western Sydney has welcomed a new dining and lifestyle destination with the official launch of the retail hub at Mason & Main, a mixed-use precinct by Coronation Property in Merrylands.

The launch was marked by three weekends of celebrations throughout May, featuring eight nights of live activations and performances. Among the headline acts were The Bearded Bakers, who drew large crowds to the precinct’s new Eat Street with their theatrical culinary displays.

New food offerings include Middle Eastern restaurant Iftar, Turkish eatery Hayat, American-style comfort food at Fat Jak’s, steakhouse Macelleria, Mediterranean-inspired Mase & Co, Japanese restaurant Yuzu Dining, and dessert chain San Churro.

Lifestyle and wellness retailers have also joined the precinct, including a 3,000-square-metre gym from fitness brand One Playground, and pet retail giant Petbarn.

Professional Laser Clinic and Hilltop Childcare have also opened, with the latter launching its services by offering a six-month childcare package worth $20,000.

Several additional retailers are set to open in June and July, including Nando’s, Nawa Thai, Nikki’s Pizza, Sogogi Korean BBQ, C9 Gelato, Oakberry, Lukumades, Butterfield Cookies, and Self Raised Bakery.

The retail mix will be rounded out by convenience-focused beauty and grooming brands such as Barber Workshop, Haus of Cosmetics, and ProfessioNAIL, bringing the total to 23 retailers.

Coronation Property Managing Director Joe Nahas said the precinct marks a milestone in the company’s vision to deliver a modern, lifestyle-focused community in Merrylands.

“By combining elements of residential, hospitality and lifestyle retail, we’ve created a world-class precinct that engages with the local community and provides an activated lifestyle for our savvy buyers and tenants,” said Nahas.

Located a seven-minute walk from Merrylands train station, Mason & Main is the largest build-to-rent development in New South Wales. The precinct includes 434 build-to-rent apartments across three buildings and 415 apartments for sale across two others.

Designed by global architecture firm Woods Bagot, the development also features a resort-style swimming pool, rooftop gardens, and private dining rooms.

With retail now in full swing, the mixed-use project delivers a comprehensive lifestyle experience for residents and the wider community in Western Sydney.
