Macarthur Square Shopping Centre is welcoming the Christmas season with a light display, extended trading hours, and a program of events for all ages.

Santa’s Arrival Parade and Santa photography on Saturday, November 8, marks the start of the festivities.

From November 7 to 9, customers who spend $150 can take part in the Jingle Bell Jackpot for the chance to receive instant prizes.

The centre’s outdoor precinct, Kellicar Lane, will feature a Christmas light display, enhancing the atmosphere for outdoor dining and family photos. Inside, guests can access multiple Santa photography sessions such as classic, pet portraits, Sensitive Santa, and the Grinch theme.

On Black Friday, November 28, shoppers who spend $100 or more in one day will be rewarded with a free Cinnascroll. Additionally, customers who book and take their Santa photo by Friday, December 5, will qualify to enter the draw for a $10,000 Airbnb getaway.

Central to the festive program is a focus on giving back to the community. The Kids of Macarthur Foundation will return with its gold coin gift wrapping service, with proceeds going to local children in need.

In collaboration with State MP Greg Warren, the centre will also run a Toy Drive to collect gifts for families facing challenges during the holiday season.

With more than 300 retailers, including David Jones, Sephora, Uniqlo, JB Hi-Fi, Ringers Western, Glasson’s, Ghanda, and Peter Alexander, Macarthur Square is gearing up for its busiest season to date. The centre expects over 1.5 million visitors and around $100 million in spending across fashion, gifts, and dining.

Jacqui Bell, Macarthur Square Centre Manager, said that the Christmas trading period is a highlight for the centre.

“We’re expecting customers to start their shopping earlier this year, taking advantage of Black Friday sales and extended trading hours from December 13.”
