Kogan posted higher gross sales in the four months to April 30, 2025 despite its technical challenges at Mighty Ape.

The group’s gross sales surged 20.2 per cent year over year to $280.5 million from $233.5 million while revenue slid 0.7 per cent to $136.6 million from $137.6 million.

Kogan.com’s gross sales soared 24.2 per cent to $239.9 million while revenue climbed 8.4 per cent to $104.3 million.

The company attributed Kogan.com’s growth to strong performance across its Kogan FIRST, Marketplace and Verticals divisions, following an increase in marketing and promotional investment.

Kogan.com’s active customers surged 38 per cent to 2.7 million.

Meanwhile, Mighty Ape’s gross sales inched 0.7 higher to $40.6 million but its revenue plunged 22 per cent to $32.3 million amid technical challenges following the upgrade of its website platform.

The group expects Mighty Ape to return to profitability in FY26, noting evident signs of its recovery.
