American restaurant and entertainment business Dave & Buster’s reaffirmed its plans to roll out stores in Australia this year, in partnership with NightOwl Entertainment Group, one of Perth’s largest hospitality groups.
Earlier, Hey Perth, an internet marketing service, said that Dave & Buster’s may be establishing a presence in the city, as Clarkson residents have received letters regarding a proposed tavern and arcade venue for up to 800 guests at the former site of Good Guys.
Dave & Buster’s plan confirmation comes as it opened a store in the Philippines, and said this will be followed by a second Indian location also this year.
The company also plans to open venues in Mexico and the Dominican Republic within the year.

As part of its global expansion strategy, Dave & Buster’s has introduced a flexible store layout to accommodate various market needs and localised its menu to suit local preferences and tastes.
The company has also adopted a proprietary dynamic pricing model to enable flexible pricing, rolled out global marketing programs designed to work across demographics while allowing for local execution, and created a unique amusement strategy and packages to help them stand out from other places.
Dave & Buster’s aims to boost customer engagement and enhance its presence in the competitive market by providing localised entertainment, late-night events, and interactive experiences.
The brand, founded in 1982 and headquartered in Coppell, Texas, has more than 220 locations in North America and is in the process of expanding its operations to five continents.
