Amazon Australia is hiring 600 seasonal workers throughout its fulfilment centres and logistics sites ahead of the mid-year sales season, including the much-awaited Prime Day event in July.

The seasonal positions are available in New South Wales, Victoria, Queensland, and Western Australia.

Prime Day is Amazon’s exclusive sale event for Prime members, featuring discounted prices on a wide variety of products—from electronics and appliances to clothing and homewares, and many more.

The seasonal staff will assist with picking and packing customer orders nationwide and will ensure that Prime members will continue to enjoy fast and free delivery across a wide selection of eligible items.

“As we prepare for one of our biggest shopping events of the year, we’re excited to welcome hundreds of seasonal workers to our sites across our Australian operations network. These roles offer competitive pay, a safe and inclusive work environment, and the opportunity to build valuable skills in a fast-paced, technology-driven workplace,” said Jacqui Marker, HR Director of Operations at Amazon Australia.

“Whether someone is looking for temporary work or hoping to build a long-term career with Amazon, we’re proud to be creating job opportunities in our local communities while helping us deliver for our customers during Prime Day.”

The seasonal jobs at Amazon Australia can lead to permanent roles and long-term career opportunities, plus benefits such as life insurance, income protection, and subsidised private health cover for families.
