ALDI store in Wright, Canberra

ALDI has opened a store in Wright, Canberra, marking its 600th location in Australia.

“Our 600th store opening in Wright marks a special milestone in ALDI’s Australian story,” said Amy Peters, Managing Director of NSW/ACT at ALDI Australia.

“We have been delivering shoppers across the country unbeatable value for almost 25 years and we can’t wait for the locals in Wright to experience this for themselves.”

With the new store opening, the supermarket chain noted that 88 per cent of Australia’s population now lives within 20km of an ALDI store.

The new store’s offering include fresh fruit and vegetables, 100 per cent Australian meat and Special Buys.

Spanning 1078sqm, the store features self-checkouts, a modern interior design, a simple layout, and an access to underground parking spaces.
