Adore Beauty Group has announced the appointment of Jason Murray as an independent non-executive Director, effective November 1, 2025.

Murray will stand for election at the company’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) on November 21, 2025, where he is expected to be elected chair of the board, succeeding Marina Go.

Go previously announced her intention to retire from the board at the conclusion of the 2025 AGM.

Murray brings more than two decades of retail leadership experience to the role, having held senior positions across several multi-brand retail groups.

His executive career includes serving as CEO and Managing Director of Just Group Ltd, overseeing brands such as Just Jeans, Jay Jays, Portmans, Dotti, Jacqui E, Peter Alexander and Smiggle.

He later served as CEO of Pepkor South East Asia, which operated Best & Less, Harris Scarfe and Postie Plus, and was an Executive Director of Pepkor Holdings Limited in South Africa during that period.

In 2019, Murray rejoined Best & Less Group Holdings as Group CEO and co-investor following its acquisition by Allegro Private Equity. He led the company through its ASX listing in 2021 and later served as non-executive chair and executive chair until its acquisition by a BBRC-led consortium in 2023.

He currently serves as a part-time board advisor and external consultant to Brand Collective, a retail subsidiary of the Larry Kestelman Group.

“He brings relevant experience and a deep understanding of strategy, retail operations and creating winning cultures. I am very confident about the positive contribution Jason will make to our board and our company as a whole,” said Go.

“I am excited to join Adore Beauty Group Limited and look forward to working with my fellow directors, Sacha and his team on the strategies and execution needed to deliver outstanding retail experiences for our customers and attractive returns for our shareholders,” said Murray.
